Sean Stephen & Freddie had a fantastic time, not only with the audiences, but with all the staff, who are second to none. While there, some great friends joined them on stage, such as Eoin Hand (Former Republic of Ireland Soccer Manager),their great friends, Shay Byrne & Eamon Robins, Dick Hogan, that great trad singer, along with Ned O’Shea of O’Shea’s Merchant, Dublin and that great Banjo player, Gerry O’Connor also dropped in to say hello. Sean’s wife, Breda, also ” knocked their socks off”, with her singing!! It was a fantastic month and the boys hope to be back there at various times in 2006. The new young singing sensation with The “Ramblers”, Stephen Leeson, really took the place by storm, as did their keyboard player Freddie O’Connor, who also excelled with his great selection of songs, while Sean kept the whole show together with his wit, humour singing and super Banjo & Mandoline playing. Former Republic Of Ireland soccer manager ,Eoin Hand One of the lads best friends is former Republic Of Ireland soccer manager Eoin Hand. Eoin joined the boys on stage and sang some great songs in Lanzarote. Eoin is also a great entertainer in his own right & a real gentleman.

The Ramblers are proud & priveleged to announce their inclusion on The Milwaukee 25th Anniversary ( Silver) CD, which is already destined to become one of the biggest selling Irish/American CDs of all time. They have performed at the festival on numerous occasions, so when they were asked to include a Ramblers track on the CD, they didn't hesitate. Their rendition of their major hit ,The Ferryman, is obviously second to none. The CD should be available on both sides of The pond, and, indeed, worldwide, very soon. Give yourself a treat and purchase a copy. The other artists on the CD, their selection of songs, will be posted here very soon.Don't miss it!!

Sean & the Ramblers had a fantastic time in Cork @ The Jazz Festival. They played 3 nights in The Rob Roy Bar in Cook St in Cork, and they want to thank Sean & Arthur Barrett , their families , and all the staff for the hospitality. Sean says :- We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. It was so successful, that the venue was packed to capacity all 3 nights. People who had tickets for other Jazz venues in the city either gave them away or sold them, they enjoyed the Ramblers so much the first night. It's with great pleasure that we can announce that we have been asked back again for the same weekend next year ,2006, but in the meantime , we will also be back in the Rob Roy on Saturday, December 17th 2005. Great news for all Rambler's & card fans!! Sean won the “Texas Hold ‘Em”” event at Ryan’s Portside in October, and goes on to play for $10,000 in January at Cocoa Beach, Florida, ALL EXPENSES PAID.!! This could lead to him going on to play for the $1,000,000 at a later stage. We’re all keeping our fingers crossed!! Watch this space!!
